I have a year old Ragdoll named Taffy. Now, I have had cats of all kinds over the years, and this one takes the cake. She is the most outrageously beautiful cat! Her fur is like bunny fur and she keeps perfectly washed. Had to do a lot of research when she was small because we didn’t know anything about ragdolls. The most fun is the "floppiness" they are known for – it’s really entertainment sometimes. She loves to play and zoom around as much as other cats, but when she lolls around the house, she lolls! And rolls, and stretches – never saw such contortions in my life, and I’ve had limber cats before. She is the sweetest thing – has a different relationship with me, my husband, and my son – and we all love her. I am the one she loves all the time, she follows my teen son around like a puppy, and she flirts outrageously with my husband.
Now, I have always been of the mind to have at least two cats in a house, and we have always done so. For the first time, with Taffy, she is enough on her own!
I don’t know where you are, but investigate rescuing one instead of getting one from a breeder. A friend of mine recently paid $800CDN for hers, and mine is nicer and prettier.

Ragdolls sell for zillions of dollars. at petfinder.com you can find great furries that are in your area and need you to rescue them. Best part is…. they have 4 paws and whiskers, just like those ragdolls.

In my line of work, I’ve dealt with many and they are so sweet and loving. Just be careful where you get it from. Do your hmework.

I am a member of Ragdoll Rescue (available on http://www.Petfinder.com in the state of Illinois) and the foster cat I currently have is the sweetest kitty!! She loves being petted and getting as much attention as she can, but a lot of any cats personality is going to have to do with how it’s been treated in the past.
