I Have a Persian/ragdoll Cat and Would Like to Train It.?

i have a mixed breed of a persian and ragdoll cat and really want to train it. all it does all day is lie around.

    Has your cat got some catnip toys and a scratching post ? Cats need some entertainment, you can have some real fun games with them. Yours is probably bored to tears just lying around. If you have no proper cat toys, you could fasten a bit of screwed up paper on the end of some string, swing it about, the cat will jump and chase it.
    If by training it you mean it doing tricks, cats were never meant to do tricks.

    Train it to do what? Those breeds are pretty laid back cats and are not active like a Siamese/Oriental/Aby type of cat.

    Try the laser lights to get him to be more active.
