I Want to Get a Ragdoll Cat, but Also a British Shorthair. Can the Two Be Kept Together Without Problems?

June 23rd, 2010

I’ve heart that Ragdolls don’t defend themselves. Is this true, and if so, would the British Shorthair take advantage of it?

i’ve heard that ragdolls are generally very well tempered cats…not sure about the brittish shorthair though.
i would really *love* a ragdoll or even a scottish fold! ahh, such cute kitties. :-)

they will be fine if they are both kittens, or at least the shorthair is a kitten. ragdolls are very tame and don’t do much.

Absolutely. Ragdolls are very docile cats. I think the Brits are a little more active, but the ones I know from cat shows are very sweet.

Young kittens would keep each other company….

It would be better if you got them both as kittens around the same age.

I wish someone would tell my ragdoll he’s supposed to be a lover not a fighter lol

They should be fine if you get them both as kittens.
