My Cat Wont Come Back Into Heat?

Hi i hope to breed my Ragdoll cat soon, however she hasnt come into heat for a while now and cant understand why not. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what could be the problem? Thankyou.

Hi Amy…cats have polyestrous heat cycles which means that the cat can have many heat cycles within the mating/breeding season. Your cat may exhibit signs of being in heat for about 1 to 2 weeks then she may come out of her heat cycle for a day, a week, or even a month and then go right back into it. There is no set schedule for a cat’s heat cycle.
