I put a link that will tell you step by step instructions. I use dawn dish soap (liquid, plain as you can find it). Mix it in a sport bottle with warm water to wet your cats hair, soap and rinse. RINSE WELL! Follow the instructions on the site below, when you get to the vinegar rinse, this is important because it gets rid of any chemicals left behind and residues. Make sure you rinse the coat with running water until the smell of vinegar is completely gone. You don’t want your cat to smell like a salad! Good luck and have fun at the show!
Well, what do you mean by suggestions? About how to dress it or how it will look? Put a little ribbon bow around its neck very loose and it will look very cute. I did that to my cat…its just so cute. Give it a bath before, you can get cat shampoo at a pet store. (petco, pet supplies plus, petsmart, etc.)
And just make it look cute. Same with your daughter. But dont put a bow around her neck lol. Make her look cute.
That’s what I do to my cat in my free-time. It’s quite fun.
Or dress the cat and your daughter in matching outfits!!! Any build-a-bear clothes?
JK do whatever you want…just some suggestions from me.
Grooming grooming grooming! The cat must be very well groomed, and that includes cleaning of the ears, eyes, and a good nail trim. If you’re going to bathe the cat, do so now so that the oils can get back into the coat by Saturday. If you haven’t bathed the cat before, this isn’t a good time to try it as some cats take longer for their coats to ‘recover’ from being bathed, and the shampoo you choose may dry out the coat too much or cause it to become ‘funny’. Is the cat accustomed to being handled by strangers? The judge will be picking the cat up, and looking for how she reacts to the teaser toy that the judge will use. You may want to get the cat playing with something similar before Saturday. Be sure to take a comb, some q-tips, and some wipes with you for last minute grooming. I’m sure that they’ll be judging for personality and grooming and not breed standard, so other than that – good luck to her!
