Ragdoll Cat – Alone at Home?

July 31st, 2010

Hi, i want to ask. I read a lot about a ragdoll cat. I saw everywhere that they do not like to be alone. But what to do if i need to go to the work? Is it good if i leaving house at 7 am and coming at 6 pm?
Thanks

Why a ragdoll? If the ragdoll doesn’t suit your lifestyle, as you say, why not get a nice shelter cat?

    Why not save a life?

ragdolls are very adaptable,if you give the cat enough attention when you get home and also its a good idea to leave either a radio or TV on when you are not at home and it as a lot of cat toys to keep it amused there will be no problem. Also most important get a scratching pole, before getting the cat. Leave water down and dry food at all times. I’ve owned ragdolls years and having said that I would not want any other breed. You will understand this after you get one.

I have a ragdoll. She sleeps pretty much the whole day until I’m around. Being alone doesn’t seem to bother her much. Just pay a lot of attention when you’re home, cuddle her in the evening. If she seems lonely, consider getting another cat to keep her company during the day.
