are you a ragdoll breeder? I have a ragdoll cat and shes grown. I got her when she was a kitten.

I was a breeder for 5 years but have closed my cattery recently. It was very expensive, very hard work, and very rewarding–great clients and great kittens.

Yes, VERY complicated. I spent 2 years studying feline diseases, birthing before I started.

I could never raise kittens for a living. I would never be able to part with them.

I’m not old enough to be a cat breeder ( 12 ^.^ ), but I will. Not any normal one though. I imagine a 5 acre place, with a medium sized house, and All of that place will be fenced in, with ( If I have to… ) 8 feet high fences, giving the cats plenty of room to roam. More than 20 cats, probably! But for the time being, I will stick to a kitty a year. ( Hopefully ) I got a kitty this Christmas named Gray(paw). He’s about 7 months old right now. Then there’s Gemini, who is about 7 to 9 years old.

Cats will escape even an 8 ft fence! You sound like you should be in the cat rescue business! Good luck.

After hauling about 1/2-ton of litter monthly, feeding & vaccinating kittens, you would be surprised how happy you would be to see them go to loving families!

OMG! They’re angels! I love cats! I’m a cat lover and I have 5 cats. We had cats through out my entire family generations… We always raised cats but I personally never breed cats since we live in a flat…. I would have loved to do it once coz my mum is an expert. Anyway, but we only have one problem so I was wondering maybe you could help me. We have a fluffy cat and he’s sort of friendly but to pet him on his back is a real pain as he turns and bites, do you have an advice for me please?

Try petting around the ears and under the chin. I don’t know how old it is–if it’s a young cat, they’re probably playing. My kittens play bite me all the time–mostly the ankles:)
