Ella is a Ragdoll cat who came to live with me when she was 18 months old. Within a few days of arrival she had tried every sleeping location possible in the house, and she decided the best spot was right where a pillow would normally be on my toasty warm waterbed. If I don’t leave the pillows in the right spot she gets very annoyed with me! Around 4 seconds into the clip you’ll see one of her favourite sleeping positions – stretched out upside down, back legs crossed at a weird angle and her toes tightly curled up. And then there’s the movement she makes with her paws, pulling tightly on her face. As soon as I get into bed she wants me to put my hand over her face so that her nose is pushed tightly into the palm of my hand and my fingers warp over her head and cheeks. She then wraps her paws around my wrist and pulls in tightly just as she does in the video. If I try to move my hand away she wraps her paws around my wrist even tighter and just wont let go for the next few hours! Ella’s body colour is quite interesting as it is white with blue points, however she also has a strong chocolate colour overlaying the blue on her back, side and tail, and then to add to the mystery she has an orange/brown colour that blends the blue & chocolote areas into the white! And then there’s some lynx stripes too! That combination would make her a “tri-colour lynx without mits” however such a combination isn’t officially recognised.
