Morally Torn… Want to Get a Kitten.. Opinions?
I really would like to purchase a Ragdoll kitten from a breeder. I currently have a 3 year old cat that I adopted from our local SPCA when he was 8 months old.
I really like the personality and look of the Ragdoll cats but my problem is it seems so hard to justify buying a cat from a breeder when shelters are so overloaded. On the other hand alot of shelters don’t have kittens, and as much as I love my adpoted kitty I would have loved to have him from a baby… it sucks that I missed out on those cute kitten years with him.
Buying a cat from a pet store doesn’t seem right either when there are so many cats that could be adopted…
Opinions?
Actually I’ve been checking petfinder.com often and not seeming to come across the one I’m looking for. But I’ll keep checking. It just so rare they’d ever have a pure bread kitten.
