What Cat Would Be Best?

My cat Doodles just died a few weeks ago. Now I’m looking to get another cat. I’ve been doing some research, and so far my top three breeds would be the Siberian, the Ragdoll, and the Mainecoon. But my only dilemma is my other cat Snickers. I want to make sure she gets along with the other cat. She is a 8 year old female, just a basic mixed breed tabby, who is a total people person, and enjoys being the queen of the house. She’s not much of a lap cat, but Doodles was. She and Doodles did not get along well at all. They just tolerated each other. So which cat would do best with her? I’m planning on getting a kitten, so that should help too. Also, what gender, boy or girl? I would rather have a girl, but getting a male is a possibility. Thanks for any answers!
I have considered rescuing, but I;m very interested in showing purebred cats. All the breeders in my area offer mentoring, and I cant find any rescue centers that have purebred kittens.
