Why Is My Cat Fat? He Weights 12lbs but Only Eats 1/2 Cup of Food in 4 Days…??
it doesnt make sense! he is very very active, he runs all around the house, and is constantly playing. he is about 1 and 1/2 years old. I know it isnt due to lack of exercise. I have had cats growing up and my cat is way more active then they were. He eats less then most cats I know too… So why is he fat? is it the breed he is? His breed is a "Ragdoll" Typically bigger cats with long hair. But mine has a belly that hangs.. Please help! He is even on diet food!
He is an indoor cat, yes he is fixed, he has never been outside, and although 12 lbs doesnt seem like much that vet said he is overweight and his belly hangs on the ground. He is definately a male! Any more advice? He has been to the vet serveral times, but the vet just said to put him on diet food, which he is. He eats Science Diet, and has since he was a baby.
