What Cat Breed Is This Cat?

I see this breed a lot, on commercials, on catchannel.com, and the current Friskies cat. I also have a cat that is the same type ad he recently went missing. Does anyone know which breed it is? I can’t ask the vet because, seriously, he is an idiot when it comes to breeds. He said my sister’s Ragdoll was a Siamese. Anyway, any help is appreciated! Thanks!

This breed has green eyes and a striped black and gray coat and a white tummy and throat. Pink nose and ears and black lines around the eyes. Very pretty.

    It’s not a breed. It’s a cat of no particular breed – a "domestic shorthair". Cats of no particular breed make up over 97% of the cats on this entire planet. This one’s colour is Brown Mackerel Tabby and White. If it was dark grey it’d be Blue Mackerel Tabby and White.
