idk i think it’s kind of pointless to get a "pure bred" cat. i love cats to death, but the best cat in the world (to me) is one that i rescued from some black berry bushes. he’s just a long haired…mix of something he’s got stripes and a white chest and i have no clue what he is. the only time i had a real breed of cat it was one of those ugly flat faced cats that my aunt gave me and it was the meanest cat i’ve ever owned i had to give her back

ragdolls are great. so are maine coons and turkish vans. but for my money the best cat is 1/2 siamese and 1/2 average american shorthair cat. you can usually find one at the pound

Peronally, I like energetic breeds like the Siamese and the Abyssinian. The Abyssinian is my favorite, because it is both active and silent
There is not best breed, though. It is a matter of opinion.

    ABYSSINIANS RULE!!!

My favorites are Persians and minx. Minx are big and naturally have a bobbed tail. Persians are very fluffy and can sometimes need more grooming.

I think domestic (cross-breeds) are the best as they are soooo cute and have such friendly temprements, they are also in general healthier.
    :o )
