I love all cats, but my least favorite is anything long haired because I’m allergic to cats. My favorite is the Tonkinese. I have two and they are great!! They are funny, smart, pigheaded, wild, SO CUTE, loveable, standoffish, they fetch, sit, love to watch water but don’t want to be in it. They don’t shed alot. I can’t imagine my life without a Tonk now that I have these two brats. :-)

The best cat in the world is the one that you love. Breed doesn’t matter. And rescuing a spayed or neutered cat is the greatest gift you can give a cat.

    Good luck with your selection.

My favourite cat is my cat. She is a moggy and the runt of the litter, rescued from someone who starved her.

My favourite breed of cat is the Oriental longhair. It has a sleek, shiny and short but thick coat on the body, and long, whispy hair on the tail. The whole cat looks divine. They are intelligent and affectionate. Burman cats are probably my second favourite, as they are oh so gorgeous and very attentive and intelligent and playful.

My least favourite kind is probably the Scottish fold. I think it is ugly. Also Siamese cats make a horrible noise and don’t seem very affectionate.

My friend has some persians, they are very soft, very affectionate and cuddly. They follow you around everywhere! So I love these too. They don’t have squashed faces either, as some longhaired cats do.

I have 3 Orange cats and they are the greatest. One is a Orange Tabby, very mellow, named Ringo. One is a Orange Bobtail Cat, very mischevious, named Rascal. And one is an Orange Persian, she is the princess, named Roxanne.

My least favorite cat is a Siamese, they are all a little bit psycho!

I hate siamese cats because they’re skinny and whiny, kind of like Paris Hilton. Everything else is beautiful, as long as it’s a rescue or a shelter cat. None of this purebred stuff when wonderful animal are dying because their owners were too stupid to have them fixed.

I have always had mixed breed shelter cats and I love my current tabby. If I had to pick a specific breed it would be a ragdoll for their personality. A least favorite for me would have to be rex cats – a little too extreme in looks for me.

my favorite breed of cat is the same as my favorite breed of dog- just a Heinz-57 (mixed breed). i dont care about the breed of the animal, just as long as it loves me and i can handle the animal in the home and around my children. mixed breeded animals tend to have less medical problems – so less that comes out my pocket. money and value doesn’t mean anything to me, so a pure-bred paper and an animal wont change my opinion on how i treat it and love it.
my least favorite feline breed is the Siamese. my neighbor had one several years back and that thing was vicious.

I LOVE Abysinians…i have two abisinian and tabby mixes and they are wonderful…they are playful (even though they are 6 years old) and they love to cuddle and run around and if you hold them often when they are kittens they become so sweet and like being held. I don’t really have a least favorite breed but i LOVE Abysinians so i would consider looking at them!

I have had many cats in my lifetime; persians, tabbys, mutts.

I really love tabbys because they are "talkative" and seem to have such personality (or attitude!). I don’t like Siamese, that meow is like nails on a blackboard to me and the crossed eyes…lol. But worst of all is the personality, I have seen too many that are nasty.

im not sure i have a favorite "breed" b/c our cats were all rescued from outside or a shelter, but currently we have two russian blue cats that we adopted from a foster family, and one outside cat that is soooo pretty, she looks like a white tiger with blue eyes and a striped tail and body

Least favorite is easy…those hairless cats, they just freak me out!

Favorite would either be a Manx, a Maine Coon or plain ole American Alley cat.

Manx because they are smart, playful and unique. I love the way they look like a bunny when they run. Breeding can be a problem due to the missing vertebre in their spine.

Maine Coon, loyal, loving and huge! (mine weighs 40 lbs-vet said he isn’t overweight) But very hairy, I have to brush Curtis every day or matts form.

Alley Cat, because I love mutts. No pedigree is just fine for me. Some of my best kitties have been just regular ole cats.

O.K……..The ragdoll cat is a very sweet and loves to to be petted and has a nice personality. I would not recomend long haired breeds unless you don’t mind grooming everyday!

I really can’t say I have one favorite. I like the Ragdoll because it goes limp when you pick it up, I like the Turkish Van because it loves water, I like the Siamese for its vocalness and looks. My least favorite if I had to pick is the Sphynx it is ugly in my opinion being hairless and wrinkly and all.

I completely agree with this comment. Check out http://www.petfinder.com and you will see that they are all beautiful, and all need someone to love them ….and you would not believe the number of cats available at your local humane association!!!
