Yellow Ragdoll Kittens?????

June 30th, 2010

My mom is a breeder of ragdolls and she has had many kittens over the years and this year one of them had a litter and one of the babies has yellow fur! Both parents are ragdolls and we are pretty sure that it is the coat color not the skin, how did this happen and what does it mean?

    it’s probably genetics.

since black cat x black cat = can equal white cat sometimes

Sorry but Ragdoll cats are NOT yellow nor do they have yellow fur. Birmans when they are older get a golden cast to their coats – but not with Ragdolls.

I’d have to see a few pictures to really see what you are talking about.

I don’t care what color they are, If they come from true ragdoll mother I will take them any day of the year.
